Welcome to Koinonia OS! Whether you are a parishioner joining your local church digital community for the first time or a church administrator setting up a new parish account, this guide covers everything you need to get started.
Tip: You can join your church in under 60 seconds if you already have your parish's unique 8-character Join Code from your church admin or servant.
If your church is already using Koinonia OS, follow these steps to connect your user account:
Navigate to the Koinonia OS portal at https://koinoniaos.com.
Click Sign Up and create an account using your email address or Google OAuth.
On the welcome screen, select the Join an Existing Parish tab.
Enter your parish's 8-character Join Code (for example: STMARY01).
Fill in your basic profile details (Full Name, Phone Number, and Address).
Click Submit Join Request.
Important: After submitting your join request, your status will be Pending Approval until a parish administrator or priest approves your request. You will receive an email notification as soon as your account is activated.
---
If you are a priest or church leader registering a new church organization on Koinonia OS:
Click Create a New Parish on the registration screen.
Enter your Official Church Name, Diocese affiliation, Timezone, and Contact Email.
Choose your initial subscription tier (Free, Basic, Pro, or Enterprise).
Click Establish Parish. Koinonia OS will automatically provision your workspace and generate your parish's unique 8-character Join Code.
Share this Join Code with your church board, servants, and parishioners.
---
Parish administrators can locate or rotate the Join Code at any time:
Log in as an Administrator.
Navigate to Settings > Organization & Branding.
Locate the Parish Join Code field.
Click Copy Code to share via bulletin, email, or SMS.
If a code needs to be revoked for security, click Regenerate Code to generate a fresh 8-character key immediately.
Warning: Regenerating your Join Code invalidates the previous code immediately. Any unsubmitted join requests using the old code will need to use the new code.
